Installing Microsoft O365 Applications

Throughout your college career, you will make use of important tools to help you succeed. This page serves as a guide for how to access the Microsoft applications you may need.

Microsoft Office 365

O365 is the portal which contains the typical Microsoft apps like Word and Excel. As a Washington State University student, you have full access to all of these applications.

Steps to access 0365 apps:

  1. Open browser on target device

    On your school computer, open your preferred internet browser

  2. Navigate to login.wsu.edu

    You will be brought to a WSU login splashpage that will prompt you to login

  3. Login using your WSU credentials

    Your WSU credentials, or your network ID, is typically formatted as first.last@wsu.edu.

  4. Select the 0365 Office Portal

    You will see all the applications attached to your account. Find the 0365 Office Portal card and select it.

  5. Click Install apps

    Once on the 0365 Office Portal, in the top right hand side of the page, you will see an “Install and more” button. Press the button.

  6. Click Microsoft 365 Apps

    The Install and more button shows a dropdown-menu with some options. The “Microsoft 365 Apps” link will begin downloading the entire Microsoft Suite
